FindMyPhoto Support
Need help? Email support@findmyphoto.app and we will get back to you within a few business days. It helps if you mention the name of the event and, if relevant, the album link you used.
How FindMyPhoto works
You upload one selfie and paste a link to a shared event album. We compare your selfie against the photos in that album and show you the ones you appear in. You can then view them and save them to your own device.
Common questions
We could not scan my album link. Not every photo-sharing service is supported, and album links often expire or require a password. Check that the link still opens in a browser without logging in, then submit the event again. If the album is public and still fails, email us the link and we will look at it.
No photos of me were found. Face matching needs a clear reference photo. Use a selfie taken face-on in good light, with nothing covering your face, and try again. It is also possible that the album genuinely contains no photos of you.
My photos disappeared. Matched photos are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically. Save the ones you want to keep to your device while they are available — open the event and use the download option.
I am not getting notifications. Notifications are optional. If you declined the prompt, enable them again in your device settings under FindMyPhoto, then submit or open an event so the app can re-register.
Can I use the app without an account? Yes. Guest results are tied to your device and are deleted automatically after 30 days.
How do I delete my account? See Delete your account.
Privacy
FindMyPhoto uses face recognition only to find you, only in albums you submit, and only with your consent. Other people appearing in those albums are not identified, profiled or stored as recognisable persons. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
