Privacy
What we stand for
These principles cover album searches in the FindMyPhoto app. Events hosted on FindMyPhoto work differently: each event's photos get their own face index, and the host decides who sees them and how long they stay online.
Processed in the EU
Your photos are stored in Stockholm and compared in Ireland, on AWS servers in the European Union.
No faceprint, ever
Each comparison is transient. No face template or "faceprint" is created or stored - only your selfie, as a photo.
Nothing trains an AI
Nothing you send is used to train or improve any AI model. Our whole AWS organisation is opted out of AI-service improvement.
Other people stay anonymous
Other people in the album are never identified, profiled or stored as recognisable persons.
You decide
We ask for your explicit consent before your first search. Withdraw it anytime in Settings, or delete your account and everything with it.
Gone after 30 days
Matched photos are deleted automatically after 30 days. Download the ones you want to keep.
How it works, in plain language
You paste the link of an album someone shared with you.
You add one selfie, so we know who to look for.
We compare your selfie with the photos in that album, on servers in the EU, and show you the ones you're in.
After 30 days we delete the matched photos automatically. Your selfie stays until you delete your account.
